Joey and I are engaged!

Woohoo! As of yesterday at 1:00 p.m., Joey and I are engaged! We are probably going to get married sometime in May 2006. I'm so happy, and also I like ice cream (which is what I am eating with Joey right now). Here's a picture of the ring. It's a diamond with sapphires on each side.

Pictures are fun! And since people rarely write on this blog, maybe we could reinvigorate it with pictures! Everybody should post a picture...of their newly painted apartments, of the new Charleston bridge, of their horrible two year olds, of the new City Year office on Gervais...whatever. In order to set the spirit, I am including this picture from a brochure that I found today in a file at The Humanities Council. It is a LEER brochure and a picture of Christine tutoring Edgar and that sullen girl whose name I have forgotten. Apparently, The Humanities Council has funded them in some way. Wow, Christine...you never know where your picture will turn up next!

not as much fun as it used to be...
as i sit here trying to find ways to fill up a 30 minute presentation on Prion diseases before I start studying the lower leg... i remember a simpler time... a time when 9-5 actually meant 9-5... unless it sometimes meant 7-8 with jumping jacks in the morning... but then after that u could go down to Jake's and chill out... instead of goin to the library to study some more...yall remember those days... i do...
